Quasquicentennial Anniversary of the Lane Cove Cricket Club Inc.
This season marks the 125th anniversary of the formation of our club. I have been asked by the club to pen a few words to introduce this milestone. Some may say that I have been around all of these years, but it is not true. I have had the privilege of attending the 75th celebration and again having the privilege of being President for the 100th anniversary. We are now at the 125th and still growing with large senior numbers and swelling junior ranks.

There have been many changes over these near 50 years that I have witnessed. The names and faces have changed over the decades but not the spirit. The fact that we are the only surviving inaugural member of the original Municipal and Shires Association is a testament to our ongoing success.
​
Many people both past and present have made this possible and we, as a club, leave an enduring legacy to our community with the passage of time. The present committee and membership under the leadership of Damian Naughton, have upheld this tradition ensuring us of a continuing future.

Raffle-we need your help!
We will be holding a raffle and already, some incredible prizes have been donated to the cause., but we need your help! If you are in a position to be able to donate to the raffle, please contact Jarrod at lccc.secretary@gmail.com
- Do you have a holiday house on airbnb you could donate for a weekend away?
- Do you own your own business that could donate a free trial?
- Are you or a friend/contact in a position to donate memorabilia?
All funds raised from the raffle will go to the Club to assist in our sustainability and to fund future growth for both junior and senior cricket.
Our aim is to be the number one choice for juniors and seniors alike to play cricket. Fundraising events such as these are crucial to funding our operations and our strategic initiatives.
